Judges Comments

First Place: “Record Breaker” got a reaction out of us as we were judging. It can be difficult to shoot, but the photographer was able to capture a great reaction shot with nice light. Second Place: Speaking of viewer reaction, “Sauce Wrestling” also caught our attention. We were all intrigued by this shot and immediately had to read the caption. Third Place: “Ravenwood at Franklin” is a nice sharp moment, and we like how you can see what's happening in the background to get a sense of the environment. Alternate: We appreciate how the photographer was able to capture this nice light in a dark pit area in “Nascar Night.” It's nice to see the race in the background to completely tell the story.
