There was a good amount of images to choose from in this category, it was one of the stronger ones. First place stood out for the creativity in using a slower shutter speed to get some nice motion blur. We also liked the composition. If you're going to tilt, have a reason, and the line of the swimming lane going into the corner of the frame proves that. Second place was a great peak action moment, nicely cropped and good expressions. Third place drew our eye right into the ball, but it's often tough to get clean backgrounds in sports photography. The alternate of the wrestlers had nice light and clean background, it was a tough choice between this one and third place.
