1st: This was the strongest story, in the sense that it went beyond covering an event. You did a great job of documenting what this person's lived experience is like, and photographically there are different focal lengths, framing and aspects to the day that keep the story moving. 2nd: We love the images in this story — geometries, light, in-between moments. But there were too many! An 8-picture edit would've made it less repetitive, and maybe a contender to win. 3rd: Same deal here, a tighter edit would've made this much stronger. But there are some very strong single images within it, and the levity/humor comes through. Alternate (Turtle Rescue): Solid story in a fairly limited environment visually.
