First place shows the photographer put in a lot of effort to illustrate the topic. They story consisted of lots of good images and we like that they attended multiple events. Second place had some good moments, but needed a tight edit. We opted to only choose two entries as the rest of the submissions did not have a narrative arch and were just a collection of photos from a single day event that would have been better submitted as photo entries in other categories. Some of those included single frames that would have placed in other categories.
