First place is a gorgeous frame. The photographer balanced a chaotic scene into a clean and well-lit portrait that gives an illustrative sense of place. Second place could have been extremely boring, but the photographer took the plain room and made it graphic, highlighting the Texas tattoo that tells us where we are. Third place is crisp, straight to the point and makes me want to read the story.
