First place. Naked Bike Ride did a great job with lighting and a selection of images that told the story without being too in your face. A really strong report with great reaction from bystanders. Second place captured all of the expected images and then surprised us with a couple more. Third place. Strong coverage of the funeral for Joseph. It has powerful moments. It’s important that media covers events like this. As always there were a couple of entries that we questioned maybe should have been in feature story. The tunnel, seamstress and sheep stories didn't seem to fit in general news.
