There were a lot of solid feature photos here in a strong category, and we tried to pick out the ones that felt unique or had that extra element that rose them above the rest.
The first photo was a great moment that sums up the story well with good composition and a clean background.
The second was great seeing and good storytelling. I could almost feel the heat on the sideline, well done.
The third photo was a nice different moment that you don't see often. The photographer was paying attention at a time where people might put the camera down and wait for the action.
