First place was a good mix of focal lengths and a had the strongest narrative arc. The detail photos could have been better executed and the story would have benefited from moments that illustrated family life. Second place lacked a narrative but was visually the strongest entry. Third place had some strong images but some of the compositions seemed redundant. Outside of a few images we did not feel the story conveyed the personalities of the people being photographed.
