The series of pups photos was the unanimous first place as it was tightly edited, great composition, light and story-telling, and a winning subject matter. The prayer walk photo is a strong second. There were several images from the wake of the Kingsessing mass shooting entered, and this image best captured the story. Another photo featuring dogs captured third. The judges liked the composition and how the real child and dog reflected the mural behind them. Nice moment. The alternate, Work to Ride, some nice images for a compelling story, but better editing and composition needed.
