First Place: The photographer was able to capture both sides to the story in “Sudden Death,” which is always nice to see in one frame. Second Place: We loved “Fan Base” because it felt like a very unique way to capture emotion off the field. It's a different kind of photo from the typical fans in the stands. Third Place: “Yes” is a good celebration moment. It's a very sharp, clean reaction shot. Alternate: We liked the fun moment in “Joy,” and we appreciated that you can see the reaction of the fans in the background.
