The first place image was arresting and humorous. It contains several little moments and leaves us with questions. You have our attention - satisfy our curiosity with a bit more information in the caption. The second place image is a clean, well executed composition. Sometimes you can't get there before they sail away, but again, we'd love to know more about the sailing club and who the people are in the photo. The third place image is a good way to show us the wildfire haze. Thanks for telling us who is in the photo. Your effort to get the family's names elevated this to third place, while our alternative pick missed out on placing because the bikers are right there - there's no excuse not to get their names.
