Judges Comments
First-place in this category was awarded on what the judges saw being communicated about the subjects personality in the first photograph of the series. And while the judges all agreed that the remaining images lacked equal character, they were informational and helped bring the viewer better understanding of the subject. Second was awarded for its classic presentation and quiet tone. Third was a controversial choice as half the judges thought the keys reflecting in the glasses were both a familiar visual device and not presented clearly enough. the other half of the judges disagreed.
