Everything about the first place image is fantastic- from the lighting, the empty background to the placement of the subject in the middle - everything about the frames just works for a mandolin prodigy. Second place is a great use of natural light and location that showcased the personality of a subject. We like the lighting in the third place image and think the out of focus sign in the clean background was a nice way to keep the main focus on the subject but also let the viewer know what the story is about in a subtle way.
