Judges Comments

Several good stories here. The tender moments from a Heroism Medal ceremony eclipsed the other two. Under diminishing weather conditions, members of the Guard arrived to honor a surviving veteran and family members of First Scouts. The second place train riders story was different - a good illustration of keeping warm in arctic conditions. The Last Checkpoint just needed a few more moments to complete the story. Nicely done for third, though.
