First — Proximity to the rowers is great. It’s a sport that’s all about unity and you’ve got this unified rowing going on with the coach in the back. Rowers are in a twinned position. You have a feeling of motion sweeping through the image. There’s a sense of tension. Second — Good peak action that incorporates emotion. Judges disagreed with framing. One liked the asymmetrical framing with the crowd and the low angle. One judge would like a little more basket in the frame. Third — Peak baseball action. Points for being there at the right time. Nice detail with the object coming out of the pocket.
