One of the strongest categories this month, but not a lot of variety. The photographers that submitted had a definite understanding of the category compared to others. The prescribed fire photo instantly stood out and gave the perfect amount of information in its caption while not overloading the reader with information. The State of the County was a good representative photo that stood apart from how the event might typically be covered and the vigil photo was chosen for its depth and representation of the event/story
