Judges Comments

Now that's a volleyball shot. Laid-out. Great concentration. Nice handling of the background. First place was an image we all wished we could have made. Second place was a storytelling image that we loved because it keyed on a defensive player for a change. The grabbing of the jersey; outstretched hands and quarterback set to launch are really good. A nice face doesn't hurt, either. Third place had some intensity going for it. Some crops were suggested (none the same), but decided this was definitely a winner.
