The judges always lean toward features with people in them which is why first place rose to the top for us.
1) Excellent work on the photographer's part to put themselves in the right spot to line up the tower and moon, then wait for the best body language. The fact helmets were a shade of red was frosting on the cake
2) The shadow makes this photo, however it would have benefitted from cropping tighter from sides and top.
3) Good job waiting for the light to be just right for this one. The vantage point seems high for a drone and judges were impressed the photographer got themselves or the drone into the correct spot.
