1st: Very important story where the photographer got different aspects of the story. 2nd: A number of standout images from a market where the photographer could easily had mailed it in but the person chose to really work it. 3rd: It wasn't necessarily as sharp as we would have liked it but the photographer captured a unique and quick moment after a verdict. We had a hard time with this category. One of the entries had a really strong single but was hurt by the subsequent images.
