Judges Comments

1st place of the Gay Rodeo was an obvious choice. Photos were done well, not much repetition, a really nice detail photograph, some unusual moments that tied the package together with a tight crisp edit. Great job. 2nd place was from the Cowboys training camp which could have placed in sports feature as well. Pretty good access for the photographer, with a good selection of fans and players and some humor thrown in. 3rd place went to a bee keeper, but loose editing pushed it down a notch; some nice light and good moments. Overall, the category had a lot of entires with too many photographs that were repetitive. Please remember to edit tightly for a concise and clear visually impactful story line.
