First-rate work throughout this category. Took us sometime to whittle down our favorites. In the end, we settled on several images that exhibited strong technical capability and emotional resonance. First was an engaging image that offered both visual appeal and context. Second is a very well-conceived and executed portrait for a story with emotional resonance. Hoped for a little more caption info for the third award, but still, a quiet, but moving portrait.
