Judges Comments

The first-place winner rose above because of the cute, quiet moment. It elicited a laugh from each of the judges and stuck with us while looking through all the images. the second place winner had a great caption, which included the cat's name, so we decided the photographer had to be rewarded for capturing a moment and writing a nice caption as well. We enjoyed the texture and depth of the third-place image.
