"Live by the multiple (photo package), die by the multiple," one of the judges noted while we were looking through these images. The majority of multiple photo entries would have been stronger if they were edited tightly or entered as the best single image from the scene. Also, we noticed several entries with captions featuring basic grammar mistakes and not written in AP Style format. The first place photo was graphic and caught our eye. The second-place photo featured a nice moment but could have used a crop. The white poster in the background is a bit distracting. We appreciated the framing of the restaurant worker in the third-place photo.
