This category was weak overall and had a surprisingly small number of entries. 1st place stood out above all the others, and captures a powerful moment, as family members comfort one another as fire destroys an apartment building. We loved this photo! Wonderful light and use of the composition. And the little girl holding on is a nice added aspect to the photo. 2nd is a nice series of photos from the edges of a fire. 3rd is a beautiful fire aftermath photo, showing extensive damage with a rainbow.
