First place was awarded to an in depth look at COVID-19 and dengue fever in a town in Peru. No images were redundant – each one added to the overall story. Great lighting and moments in all 14 photographs. The judges thought this was the best entry for the month. We awarded second place to a story on honey harvest. A tighter edit of individuals cleaning the bee frames would have helped but the close-ups were well lit and added to the story. In third place, Pumpkinville won our vote with its images of patterns and the color orange. The photographs made us want to go and enjoy this village of squashes.
