It’s nice to see some action photographs, something the judges haven’t been able to shoot because of COVID-19. Probably more than any other category, sports action photographs need to capture a moment and our top three do just that. First place went to a photograph that show a goal being scored in a field hockey match. The sharp image captured the ball going past the goalie, hopping in the air to try to stop it. Our second place photograph shows a wide receiver flying through the air for yardage. And in third place, the moment four people are going for a football and their reactions to it create a winning photograph. It would help each of these captions to mention the winners and losers in the game and any interesting, additional information.
