Quite a few entries left us wanting more information and, can't stress enough, multiple photos don't make an entry stronger. First, the view looking down on both fires made this entry stand out as unique and different. While just the first picture is all we need, lots of information in the caption gave us the complete story and made it stand out. Second, we liked the bit of emotion with the hug between the postal workers, while the photo could benefit from a better angle the photographer did the best they could composing the scene and the story comes across. Third made good use of light and composition to gives us a photo pleasing to the eye.
