This category was packed with photos. No surprise there, but the big surprise was that there wasn't as much depth as we thought we would find. The winning photo is ultra clean, tack sharp, during critical action. An exemplary display of great sports photography. Second place is an ultra-tight, ohh man that hurts, kind of moment that really forces the viewer to take it all in. Third place is also a nice action shot that accentuates the moment of the catch due to the lighting the hands and eyes of the players. The pole on the left side of the frame could have been cropped out, for an even cleaner shot.
