A thin category with mostly pedestrian daily portraits, so the top three rose up quickly. First place has in-your-face-impact where the use of the fisheye is a good match for the subject matter. Too often the use of the fish is the wrong approach that hurts a photo, in this case it was the right lens on the right subject matter. Second place gives good context that adds to the understanding of the story while still keeping the subject as the focus. This is what environmental portraits are supposed to do. Impact of third place beat out a few quieter portraits for the final spot.
