First place was a really unique moment found by the photographer. The viewer doesn’t need to know anything about hockey to understand what is going on in the photo. Second place: The photo brought the viewer into the celebration. Third place: We really liked this moment and the mirrored emotion on both sides of the frame but the yellow on the left side of the frame was distracting.
