Judges Comments

The first place winner's first frame was the strongest of all the entries in this category. Multiple young men grieving a shooting in a neighborhood. Though distant, it was moving. The continuing coverage through the next day was - at times - strong, but could have been edited down significantly to make the package really "sing." The rest of the winners were separated themselves by amounts of emotion captured and the technical quality of what was entered.
