Again, poorly edited ‘series’ are hurting entries that were contenders as single entries. First - Great take on the traditional ‘Portrait’ idea, and beast has a little attitude to boot. Subject in white holding grounhog helps focus image instead of distract. Nicely done. Second - Strong composition, enhanced by subtle lighting. Lot’s of opportunity to do this shot a different way that probably would not have been as effective. Third - For a portrait, subjects humanity is apparent, not forced or staged in a way that detracts from seeing through to his personality.
