As a general comment, we were bummed by the loose edits for multi-picture entries. Individual pictures were good and in some cases would’ve won on their own merit individually but a tighter edit was required in almost every instance. First place is an unmistakably storytelling picture with a clear moment and good initiative shown by the photographer (although its caption needs a little work). The second place made us smile because of the unique juxtaposition of an emotional sports reaction within the context of a disaster recovery.Third place is a well done example of how to cover a vigil.
