Judges Comments

1st - What a fun picture. The dog’s face really tells the story. Kudos to the photographer for recognizing this easily missed moment. 2nd - We loved this picture, too. You get both a quiet moment (dude knocked out) and a loud moment (victor celebrating) in one frame. It isn’t often a photographer is fortunate enough to have all the elements move perfectly into place for a shot like this. 3rd - We chose this for the moment and tight crop.
