1st - The photographer got us with the light. There were many, many
flag pictures this month, but this one had us feel something. Shallow
depth-of-field helped bring it all into focus.
2nd - This was a nice, quiet moment between brother and sister
before a big moment in both their lives. The simple framing works well
and the sister’s shoe added a nice kick to the image.
3rd - I think we’re all suckers for reflection images, but aside from
that, this image was composed extremely well and the seagull offered
a nice surprise.
