Judges Comments

First place was the clear winner. It was a nice moment with balanced composition and it was good to see the photographer turning away from the standard action to make a feature. The wide angle lens made us part of the group. Second place is all composition. We loved how the little karate kid was framed and seemed so small because of the lens choice. Third place gave us a lot to look at and was a nice natural moment that may not have even been a sports assignment.
