A few pictures in this category would've been better served as sports features. First had great energy, a sense of competition, all tack sharp where it needed to be. Second was a wonderful sunlit image where the light does the heavy lifting in setting the mood of the moment (props to the photographer who had to lay in the grass to get it). Third was another great basketball image showing the brute physicality that can occur through competition.
