The first-place image is the best one because of how the defensive player was tackling him and the quarterback and how dramatic it was with the quarterback's legs in the air trying to embrace for impact from the defender with his helmet being grabbed. The image would have been better with less noise, but that often easier said than done with how dark outdoor lighting can be at games. The second and third images do a great job of capturing action with receivers making tough cat aches. All of these images do a great job of capturing peak moments of receivers making tough and/or long catch. I like how the second image had symmetry with the offensive and defensive ends trying to get past the defenders to tackle the quarterback. The third image captures a great moment by showing three players who are determined and doing everything in their power to catch the same ball. It also showed good anticipation which is hard to do in football when you never know when a play will happen. The only thing that would've made this photo better is if the player on the right was sharp since we see most of his face.
