The luthiers story includes a range of wide, medium, tight, and gives us a slice of life in the shop. Consider editing the story description down some. It felt like a long press release more than a story. Overall, this entry was only one that felt deserving of a place and like it fit the category.
We did not award the BART prom package because we felt it was more appropriate as general news coverage and didn't follow a narrative arc, as required by the rules. We felt the homeless encampment package was too weak to place.
