The car rescue image shows that the photojournalist could hustle to the scene and then think thoughtfully and carefully about framing and reporting once on-site; well composed. The Putah image of fires feels eery and captivating. Good way to show the scale of the event. The encampment fire isn't the strongest overall, but it's a heck of a storytelling image, still. Love that there's sense of place and people layered in.
