I would have liked to see some tighter shots of your interview with the vet, you had a nice portrait shot near the end - you get props for not breaking the face line with the nose. A nice slow meltin away dissolve would have been easier to follow visually on your transition from modern day footage to the b&w photos, the film burn/light leak wasn't needed at all and made the effect of jumping through time less noticeable. Didnt like the wipe transitiong into your closing shot. Keep it simple sometimes, but keep up the effort on creativity. mri-kxas Fort Rousseau 8 8 9 9 well told story .. super interesting .. you transitioned seamlessly from one subject to the next and had some fun litttle surprises in there. your wipe at the end was a little weird .. and film burn transitions didn't seem like the right use where you had them. i would like to see more of a morph look as you go from today to the past .. overall though GREAT STORY
