For sports feature we were looking for the spirt of the game, action, dejection, peak emotion all around. First place rose to the top for combining both celebration and dejection in a compelling image. Second place combined emotion with strong composition. Third place was a wonderful moment on the side, great seeing by the photographer, but we felt it could have been shot better.
