FIRST - This one had a definitive style and mood to it. It felt soft and contemplative. The colors and form seemed deliberate and added to the strength of the photo. It made us want to keep looking at it.
SECOND - This had a very elegant feeling with the exposed-neck pose and the BOSS earring. We almost always want to see a pair of eyes in a portrait, but the earring did the talking here and told us about the subject. We also like the grace of the hands doing the hair.
THIRD - This is definitely a gem of a situation, but it feels accidental with the open-mouthed expression. We clearly have a great subject and even a fun location, but we hesitated on whether all the elements came together for us. We could see this being strengthened with more intentional framing and posing.
