First: Terrific moment here. Consensus first award choice for us. And that was before we realized it was Mark Cuban! Second: We liked the sense of isolation in this one. We’ve seen many images of missed hurdles before, but the resignation of the runner’s body posture added an element of depth for us. Third: The lasso performance benefitted from some nice stage lighting, but we thought the photographer also captured a nice moment and agreed the negative space added to the composition.
