"Lovely, intimate portrait of the chef and the struggles many restaurants went through during the pandemic. Sensitively told with a lot of variety in the b-roll. The behind the scenes footage of the restaurant closing really added to the piece. I also appreciate that the focus wasn't on Top Chef — it was on the character." "Very interesting to start such a project in March 2020 and show that slice of life just as things were really changing. Good choice to get the chef painting and out into nature to show non-culinary individual pursuits contrasting with running a restaurant. Lovely video portrait to end on."
