DK WBBH A Step In The Right Direction 9 9 8 8 Great! Awesome shots and editing especially during the surgery. This one really drew me in and had good pacing. The only thing I didn't like was the sepia color grade at the end. LI WBBH A Step In The Right Direction 9 10 9 8 -Great use of the access into surgery room. -Loved the utilization of nats. -Editing very sharp. -Great moments. JK WBBH A Step In The Right Direction 8 8 8 8 Loved the story and following him through the whole journey. Good clean shots. Great coverage. Cuts were smooth and subtle. Could have done without the sepia tone recap at the end. SR WBBH A Step In The Right Direction 9 9 8 9 Wow! Great access to a medical procedure. Its rare that news gets to tag along on someone's brain surgery. This was just fascinating.

DK WBBH Misty Copsey Cold Case 8 8 8 8 Some great shots at the fair. You did a good job making the story very visual. I really liked the sequences of putting in the old tapes and watching the file video. The lighting during the interview with the mother could have been better. LI WBBH Misty Copsey Cold Case 9 10 9 9 -The creativity in the photography here was stellar. You found a way to make looking at file video look incredibly appealing. (Of course I will be borrowing the technique). -Also it may go without saying, but you held my attention the entire time through. -I would have wanted the mother's interview to look like it was given more attention. The sun behind her, made her background look blown out. -Maybe one less standup. The story was well written and could have flowed better without as many breaks. JK WBBH Misty Copsey Cold Case 8 8 8 8 I really loved the shooting and editing of this piece. Flowed very nice. Maybe a few too many unnecessary pans. Loved the sequence of putting in the tapes. SR WBBH Misty Copsey Cold Case 9 10 9 10 I've seen alot of stories about cold cases, this was one of the best. The shots at the carnival and the whole production felt haunting. I was very impressed with all the legwork that went into this. The old school vhs sequencing was great. This inspired me for future projects.

SR WBBH Mustang Part 2 9 9 9 9 Very compelling story! I loved that you took the time to introduce the wife first. I was a big fan of the subtle lighting and profile framing during their interviews. The slider shots added to the big production. DK WBBH Mustang Part 2 9 7 7 8 Great emotional story. I really liked this one. Some of the cuts directly from one interview to another could have benefited from a cutaway shot. LI WBBH Mustang Part 2 8 9 9 9 -One reveal after another that I enjoyed. -Impressive variety in shots. -The NATS needed work. There were moments you could tell were impromptu and you had to rely on inconsistent mics to pick up the sound. -I liked the moving story. JK WBBH Mustang Part 2 9 9 9 10 Loved that you follow them through the whole story. I liked the interview shot.
