First: An impactful and relevant story for 2019. It is easy to see the photographer spent time getting to know Yordy Michikoj and understand his day-to-day life. The photos gave a sense of the extra effort migrants have to put forth after migrating to the states.
Second: The photographer was able to tell the story of a single mom with a busy life with little support of the captions. The time spent with Kai' Perry shows the effort she puts into modeling and being a mother simultaneously.
Third: The photographer gave a good sense of the loneliness and possible cabin fever the kids get by being at home most of the day. The series left us questioning where the father is at the end of the day since the reason for homeschooling was to spend more time with him. Overall good depiction of homeschooling life.
