Judges Comments

There were a good number of well-lit, well-executed entries in the Portrait/Illustration category. First place winner is an exceptionally well-done conceptual image, bolstered by terrific lighting an composition. Second place was an example of making the most of a difficult assignment. We were drawn to the novel approach and the inclusion of the shadowed figure in the reflection. We loved the light of the third place entry, perhaps a little challenging to capture just right.
