We are only awarding one place for the PSES category. The other entries did not meet the standards of what a photo story or essay is defined as, and the quality of some of the images weren't there either. Stories should not be one-day events, like a polar plunge or a women's march, unless it's focused on a story within the event. It should offer a beginning, middle, and end. A collection of images from an event should be entered in GENW. The winning entry had full, complete captions and told the story of the band throughout the year. The images were both aesthetically and technically beautiful. We shouldn't award places simply because people enter a category.
