The stories that placed had great moments, more complete storylines, great access and good news value.
First place was the best executed on a complete storyline, a timely story and great emotion following these three women. We also thought that it was difficult to shoot everyday people and it won over more visually dynamic situations. Prison (#2) was well executed for a situation you could not show faces. Third place was strong, but lacked a concise storyline - we were not sure what the story was supposed to be.
